The holidays are behind us and it’s time to welcome 2014…
Every year around this time I dust off my “New Year’s Resolution” list and gleefully cross off some items while others are added with great ambition and determination. Of course there are those pesky ones, which I’ve rewritten onto the 2014 list because I’ve haven’t completed them (yet).
What about you? What are your goals for 2014?
Mine usually touches upon work (ongoing education), personal (appreciate imperfections) and health (more yoga and good food) with a sprinkling of “get out there, be more social and meet new people” sort of goals.
All and all, it’s a doable list. After all, there are 365 days in a year and that’s plenty of time, right?
“stay focused. stay on track. get stuff done. be realistic.”
This is my daily mantra. I’ve emblazoned it onto the top of my worksheet and it helps me to stay organized and on task. Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of this single to-do page as it can easily be adapted for whatever you want or need. I’ve used for different things; home, work, and play and it really helps me to stay on top of the projects I work on.
Just stay focused and stay on track. You’ll get stuff done so long as your expectations are realistic!
