Another year, another look

“Why do you keep changing your website?” I get asked frequently.
“Why not?” I usually respond.

But for those of you who really want to know…

I seek pleasure. It’s human nature. We do things because we enjoy it. I redesign my website because I get satisfaction creating beautiful, yet functional end products.

I am an artist. I love visual components, textures and playing with various materials to create different effects. I can’t draw (very well) and painting isn’t even in my repertoire, so one of my creative outlets is creating pretty websites.

I am a geek. CSS, hooks, actions, filters, plugins, oh my! No drag-and-drop website building happens at Amy Susan Design.

I am contemporary. Combining geekiness with artistry, I can stay current with the latest design trends and technological advancements and that makes me happy.

Just so you know, I’m physically located within the Los Angeles area, but I work with people all over the country. My clients get the same attention to detail to their projects, just like I give my own. I’m a big fan of collaboration, listening to clients’ ideas and creating something fantastic to suit their needs.
